Fishbowl Distortions
This ongoing series began in 2008 with a simple idea: distorting my old sketchbook drawings with my betta fish bowls. The idea evolved into several tangents. One focuses on the distorted patterns, another on the marbles and/or plants in the fishbowls. The last was on the fish themselves which evolved further as my fish ownership expanded to goldfish as well. Several of the pieces were shown at the Postcard-sized Art Exhibition in November 2010 and most of the series was displayed at the Artists Against Hunger 6 Exhibition in June 2012.
